Carter Larsen is a paraplanner on our team. His favorite activity at work is running retirement projections for clients. He is ultra-organized, which helps him accomplish his projects quickly and efficiently. He enjoys having a job where he can contribute to our clients’ successes, and also to his own, as he teaches and learns daily. He is currently attending Brigham Young University working toward a Bachelors’ degree in finance. He is a member of BYU’s Army ROTC program where he has contracted to become an army officer when he graduates. Carter really enjoys personal finance and has always wanted to be in the Army and serve our country. His goal is to find a way to do both of them.

Carter has always worked hard and grew up doing lawn care, taking care of 10-15 lawns from the time he was 10 until age 14. In high school he worked as a busser in a five star restaurant. Previously he worked as the head technician at a local bike shop. He is driven, adventurous and always loves to be on the go whether working, serving others, or playing with family and friends. His favorite activity is dirt biking. He makes that happen weekly. He played lacrosse for twelve years and loves all sports. Carter is close to his parents and his brothers and sisters (two of each). He also has an amazing nephew. Carter is a people person who is a good friend to everyone and wants to be there for the people in his life. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Merida, Mexico.

What is your favorite food?

Steak. My dad took me to Ruth’s Chris when I graduated high school. It is still the best meal I’ve ever had. Also milk, I drink five gallons a week, and I’m addicted to salt (yes, the spice).

If you had a superpower what would it be?

Psychokinesis. I want to be able to control physical things with my mind.

Who do you admire most?

My Dad. He has always been someone I can lean on when I need help. He is one of the most selfless, giving and loving (even if he doesn’t know how to show it) people I know. I also admire anyone who is motivated to accomplish their goals. When I see someone who has more drive than I do, it motivates me to be better.
